brownie bliss balls

These brownie bliss balls are not only a delicious smack but packed with a good amount of plantbased omega3s! They're vegan as well as gluten free.

Ingredients

  • 150 g dates
  • 50 g oats
  • 35 g coconut flour
  • 35 g cacao powder
  • 50 g hazelnuts
  • 50 g walnuts
  • 50 g hempseeds
  • 20 g ground flaxseeds
  • 20 g cacao nibs
  • 1 Tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  • Soak dates for at least 1 hour in warm water.
  • Roast nuts at 200C in the oven for 10-15 minutes until golden. Let cool.
  • In a blender or food processor process oats until a fine flour forms. Set aside.
  • Blend cacao nibs as well, they should be finer but still a bit chunky. Set aside as well.
  • In a food processor process nuts until they form a paste (not runny as nut butter). Add dates and process again until smooth.
  • Finally add oat flour, coconut flour, cacao powder, ground flaxseeds, hempseeds (and vanilla extract if using) and blend again until it gets a dough like concistency.
  • Roll the dough into balls, let cool down in the freezer for about 30 minutes and enjoy!
